Cheryl Sayers is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in New Jersey and holds a Master's in Taxation from Seton Hall University. Following her graduation from Montclair State College in 1991, she started working for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and embarked on a career in accounting and taxation. Over her 11-year tenure at the IRS, she served in various roles, including Revenue Officer, Employment Tax Examiner, and Revenue Agent. Following her time at the IRS, Cheryl advanced her career as a Senior Staff Accountant at two mid-sized accounting firms. She was recently a Managing Partner in a Manasquan, New Jersey-based small accounting and tax firm.
With 32 years of professional experience spanning the IRS and public accounting firms, Cheryl has accumulated extensive expertise in financial and tax accounting, tax preparation and planning, forensic accounting, and tax problem resolution. Her Master's Degree in Taxation enhances her ability to tackle complex tax and accounting issues with proficiency and insight.
